Supporting Asheville Empire’s Recovery – Join Us in Helping Our Lacrosse Community
Dear 336 Lacrosse Families,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share an important update about an opportunity for us to come together and support a fellow lacrosse community in need.
Recently, Asheville Empire’s Rec/Club program suffered a devastating loss due to a hurricane. Nearly all of their equipment, including ten goals, sticks, and other essential gear, was destroyed. Their program is now facing a tough road to recovery, and we’re rallying to help them rebuild.
I received a message from the Director of Asheville Empire, who shared a heartfelt note that I wanted to pass along. He mentioned:
“By the way, one of my sons played against you all yesterday. Pole #29. His name is Grayson. He guarded some kid named Grayson. Said he liked playing against and talking to the guy. You have some class acts out there. I cannot say that about all the teams we play. Whatever you are doing, keep doing it.”
It’s a true testament to the sportsmanship and character of our players, and I couldn’t be prouder.
At 336 Lacrosse, we’re committed to assisting Asheville Empire in any way we can, whether through donations or other support. We’ve reached out to various organizations, including the PLL and Signature Lacrosse, to see if additional assistance can be provided. The article linked below from USA Lacrosse highlights some of the incredible work Asheville Empire has done in their community, which makes it all the more important for us to step in during this challenging time.
